As an account label only: RyoEx trading bots and algos are cBots from independent cTrader Store sellers, collected under the broker's name for its clients to browse. RyoEx did not build, endorse or support these products; their sellers maintain them and answer questions about how they work.
Usually, because grid and multi-position bots open several trades on one symbol, sometimes in opposite directions, and only a hedging account keeps them apart. A netting account merges them into one position, so confirm your RyoEx account type, and remember that stacked grid orders can deepen losses on either.
Start with the cTrader log for that instance, which records errors such as rejected volumes or missing symbols, then confirm your parameters match the seller's described setup. When the cause stays unclear, send the seller your log and settings, since product fixes come from whoever published the bot.
A cloud instance, since it runs on cTrader's hosted infrastructure rather than your own machine and so carries on overnight. Cloud mode skips HTTP requests and pop-up windows, though, so a tool needing them must stay local on a computer or VPS that never powers down.
They should whenever the spellings differ, because a cBot built around one name may not find gold or a pair that carries a suffix at RyoEx. Also check how the bot reads pip size and what one lot equals for that contract, since position sizing rests on both.
