Most cBots apply one fixed rule set to every market condition. Regime Sentinel doesn't — it continuously reads the prevailing volatility regime and adjusts how it engages depending on whether the market is calm or active, rather than trading a quiet range the same way it trades a breakout.
How it trades
Risk is managed on every position with an ATR-based stop loss and trailing stop, a maximum daily loss limit, and an account-level equity-drawdown safeguard that can pause new entries if drawdown exceeds a set threshold from the recent equity peak. Every protection is configurable to your own risk tolerance.
Built on rigorous back testing
Every result below was generated using accurate tick data, not bars synthesized from OHLC — so spread, commission, and swap are all reflected in the numbers, not just price action.
The tests also span long, uninterrupted windows — nine years for BTCUSD, six-plus for XAUUSD. That's multiple full market cycles: trending years, ranging years, high- and low-volatility years. A strategy doesn't need a lucky quarter to look good if it's been run over a window that long.

Markets traded
Live and back tested on XAUUSD (Gold), BTCUSD (Bitcoin), and DE40 (Germany 40) — built as a multi-asset engine from the ground up, not a single-pair script relabelled for other symbols.
The cBot ships with its standard parameter set tuned for BTCUSD on the H2 (2-hour) chart. A dedicated XAUUSD (H1) parameter set is provided separately, so you're not left to retune it yourself.
