RTS: TrendSeeker Pro is the production, risk-managed upgrade of RTS: TrendSeeker - a fully automated long-only daily-momentum cBot refined through disciplined, pre-registered research rounds (2018-2026, verified OHLC). It scans 5 FX crosses and Gold and trades a single rigorously validated edge, wrapped in ATR-adaptive position sizing and profit-locking exits that cut drawdown by a third versus the original while raising the profit factor.
THE STRATEGY
- Entry: go long when the 20-day rate of change is positive and above a minimum momentum threshold (0.25 x ATR) at the daily close, then buy at the next day's open.
- Exit (first hit): Donchian P=40 trailing exit, a breakeven plus chandelier profit-lock (locks gains after +1.5 x ATR, trails at 2.5 x ATR), a 20-day time stop, or a 2 x ATR insurance stop.
- Long-only by design: the short side lost money in research, so the bot only trades the direction that works.
- One position per symbol, each managed independently on its own daily bars.
RISK MANAGEMENT (WHAT MAKES IT PRO)
- ATR-adaptive position sizing: a constant 0.5% of equity risk per trade, scaled by real-time volatility (regime scaling cuts exposure in high-ATR spikes).
- Min-lot hard cap (4%): keeps even the biggest movers (Gold) bounded; a skip gate drops unaffordable signals.
- Cluster caps plus margin guard: protects against correlated JPY-cross and leverage blowups.
- On-chart dashboard: equity, day P&L, drawdown, open positions, per-symbol status.
- Structured logs: every entry shows actual risk percent; every exit is tagged.

HONEST CAVEATS (READ BEFORE BUYING)
- 2026 has been the weakest stretch on record - drawdown periods are expected; the Pro risk layer materially reduces, but does not eliminate, them.
- Research modeled costs - live spread, swap and slippage reduce the net edge (Gold long-carry and JPY roll apply).
- The edge is regime-dependent - concentrated in JPY-weakness and gold-trend conditions.
