This cBot, created with AlgoBuilderX for the cTrader platform, automatically detects bullish and bearish Engulfing candlestick patterns to execute trades. When a bullish Engulfing pattern is identified, it opens a long position; when a bearish Engulfing pattern occurs, it opens a short position. The strategy employs fixed take profit and stop loss levels to manage risk. Designed as a demonstration example, it operates only on demo accounts and illustrates the use of AlgoBuilderX’s candle pattern block, which allows automatic identification of preset or custom candlestick patterns. Users can import, view, edit, and export the strategy within the AlgoBuilderX workspace. This cBot serves as a starting point for developing custom automated trading strategies and is not optimized for live trading. Testing and optimization are recommended before live deployment.
