Quantum Trend is an adaptive trend indicator that uses Shannon entropy to measure market randomness and filter noise from price direction. Unlike standard trend indicators that apply fixed-speed EMAs, this tool adjusts the EMA speed dynamically based on market regime: accelerating during strong trends and smoothing during consolidation. It also features dynamic ATR-based bands whose width scales with both volatility and trend strength derived from entropy, providing context for breakouts. The trend line continuously changes color—green for uptrends and red for downtrends—without gaps or resets, and optional bar coloring offers an instant visual of the overall trend. The indicator includes three presets (Default, Fast Response, Smooth Trend) and is fully configurable, allowing adjustment of entropy lookback, band multipliers, and colors. This approach distinguishes genuine directional moves from random volatility, enhancing trend clarity across market conditions.
