Candle Quality Meter Free is a cTrader overlay indicator designed to assist traders in evaluating the quality of price candles across multiple timeframes. It analyzes the current candle, the previous candle, and the higher-timeframe (HTF) candle to provide a comprehensive market context assessment. The indicator does not generate buy or sell signals nor execute trades; instead, it offers a status classification—CLEAN, CAUTION, or AVOID—based on candle clarity, strength, and alignment with broader market trends.
Key features include detailed metrics such as candle type, direction, quality score, noise score, body and wick percentages, close strength, and ATR ratio. It identifies common candlestick patterns like Clean Momentum, Bullish/Bearish Rejection, Engulfing, Sweep Rejection, Breakout Close, Failed Breakout, Compression, Inside Bar, Outside Bar, and Doji. The Pattern Trust feature evaluates the reliability of detected patterns considering candle quality and HTF alignment.
The dashboard presents four main sections: CURRENT (live candle data), PREVIOUS (last closed candle), HTF (higher timeframe candle), and CONTEXT (combined analysis indicating alignment or risk levels such as Strong Alignment, Mixed, Conflict, Fakeout Risk, or High Risk Noise). This tool is suitable for scalping, intraday trading, and price-action analysis across various symbols and timeframes where quick candle quality interpretation is essential.
