SmartGrid is a cTrader automated trading robot (cBot) that implements a trend-following grid strategy using exponential moving averages (EMA) and average true range (ATR) indicators. It employs a 50 EMA and 200 EMA crossover to determine the prevailing market trend and initiates trades only in that direction. The grid spacing between orders is dynamically adjusted based on ATR, allowing the bot to adapt to current market volatility rather than using fixed intervals.

The bot opens an initial market order when a valid trend is detected and adds additional grid positions as price retraces by the ATR-based distance. It manages all open positions as a basket, closing them once a configurable profit target is reached, then restarts the cycle. SmartGrid includes configurable parameters such as initial lot size, lot multiplier, ATR period and multiplier, maximum grid orders, basket profit target, and maximum drawdown protection.

Risk and money management features include automatic basket closure, drawdown limits, and adjustable position sizing. The bot is suited for trading Forex, Gold, Indices, and CFDs, and is designed for users familiar with grid trading who prefer adaptive spacing and trend-following strategies.
