Gold Basket Manager helps discretionary gold traders turn a trading decision into a sized, protected basket. You choose Buy or Sell, a market or limit entry, an absolute stop-loss price and your risk budget. Preview the calculated volumes and levels, then explicitly confirm the order. The cBot does not search for entry signals or continuously open new trades.
WHAT IT DOES
• Opens one basket containing one, two or three equal-volume positions with separate take-profit targets.
• Sizes the whole basket using a percentage of equity or a cash amount in the account currency.
• Includes configurable cost and entry-slippage reserves in sizing; rejects a plan when the broker's minimum volume cannot fit the budget.
• Attaches broker stop-loss and take-profit protection when placing each leg.
• Optionally moves remaining stops toward breakeven plus the configured cost allowance after TP1 closes at its target.
• Optionally trails the last leg using the original stop distance, preserving tighter stops.
• Supervises pending expiry, spread limits, a daily basket count and a scoped daily cash-loss threshold.
• Retries failed close/protection requests while connected and recovers supported baskets from broker records and its journal.
HOW YOU USE IT
1. Start on a demo hedging account with On Start set to Preview.
2. Enter a fresh Plan ID, direction, entry, stop price, risk and target multiples.
3. Select Preview basket and review the entire basket's estimated risk and margin.
4. Select Confirm and submit within 30 seconds.
5. Keep the instance running for software supervision. Once the basket closes, it waits for your next decision.
The chart panel is intended for cTrader Desktop. Parameters also support ManageOnly and SubmitOnce: the latter executes one supplied plan only when the confirmation ID matches. It is not a recurring entry strategy. Preview is the default; the supplied zero stop price intentionally prevents an immediate order. Full-version live entries require explicit opt-in.
ACCOUNT AND INSTRUMENT
Strategy type: discretionary trade execution and basket management. Intended use: manually planned gold trades, including intraday trading. The gold contract must have XAU as its base asset. Hedging is required; netting accounts and adoption of unrelated positions are not supported. There is no indicator-based analysis, grid or martingale.
Use one manager per account, symbol and Instance Key, with at most one active basket. Any chart period may be used because entries are user decisions; the demonstrated configuration uses XAUUSD/m1 and checks state approximately once per second. Market and limit entries are supported.
Suggested initial evaluation setup: a demo hedging account, 1:100 leverage and USD 20,000 simulated balance. This is a conservative onboarding suggestion, not a verified universal minimum or a recommendation to deposit funds. Actual execution validation used EUR 20,000. Required capital depends on your stop distance, target count, broker minimum volume, margin and costs; Preview must accept each plan. Smaller accounts can evaluate fewer targets when broker constraints permit.
LIMITATIONS THAT MATTER
The daily loss rule is a cash threshold for this manager's exact symbol and Instance Key. It is not account-wide prop-firm compliance. Broker history availability and loss of local storage can limit recovery of older commands or unacknowledged protection intent. Keep the instance connected for breakeven, trailing and exit retries. Stopping leaves existing positions protected by their broker SL/TP but stops software supervision and attempts to cancel owned pending orders.
This release is intended for Desktop use. The chart panel is not a Mobile/Web remote interface, and Cloud operation is not advertised as a qualified capability. The supplied historical reports demonstrate individual manually specified plans, including a losing example; they are not a long-term strategy track record. No profitability or maximum realised loss is guaranteed.
TRIAL AND SUPPORT
The free trial offers the same manager workflow on demo accounts and refuses live accounts in code. There is no time-based trial expiry. For help, use this product's cTrader discussion area or the seller's cTrader profile. Include the product version, broker, symbol, parameters and relevant logs, with account identifiers removed. Never share your password.
