Gap Guardian V48 is a visual Fair Value Gap indicator built for traders who want a cleaner and more practical FVG workflow inside cTrader.

This indicator focuses on true wick-based 3-candle Fair Value Gaps only. It avoids loose or misleading body-gap interpretations and highlights only genuine gaps where price has left a clear inefficiency between candle 1 and candle 3.

All valid FVG zones are drawn on the chart, while signal generation can be filtered separately. This gives traders the best of both worlds: full market structure visibility and cleaner signal logic.

How It Works

A bullish FVG is detected when the low of candle 3 is above the high of candle 1.
A bearish FVG is detected when the high of candle 3 is below the low of candle 1.

This keeps the logic strict and consistent with classic Fair Value Gap definitions.

Signal Logic

The indicator can show all FVG zones, while applying filters only to signals:

• Trend filter using fast and slow EMA
• First FVG per swing logic
• One arrow per candle per direction

This means you can still see every valid imbalance on the chart, while only receiving signals that match your preferred conditions.

Trade Levels

For the latest qualifying signal, the indicator can automatically draw:
