APEX RISK GUARD PRO

Apex Risk Guard Pro is an on-chart risk management panel for cTrader. It is a manual trading assistant, not an automated strategy. It sizes your trades, guards you against high-impact news, shows your live profit and loss, and lets you manage positions with one click. It works on any symbol and any timeframe.

  What it does

  Position sizing. It reads your account balance, the live price, pip value and volatility, and shows the exact lot size

  for your chosen risk, together with the money at risk and the resulting stop-loss and take-profit prices.

This updates before you enter, so you never size by hand.

  News guard. You paste the week's high-impact economic events once. The panel detects the currencies of the chart

  symbol, counts down to the next relevant event, and blocks new orders from a set number of minutes before to a set

  number of minutes after the release. A colour countdown moves from green to amber to red as the event approaches.

  Because it uses a pasted list rather than a live web request, it runs with no external access, which suits prop-firm

  accounts.

  Live profit and loss. The panel shows floating account profit and loss and total open exposure above the buttons,

  updated on every tick.

  One-click management. Close Half and Breakeven takes half the position off and moves the stop to entry, but only once

  the trade is in profit, so the stop always stays on the safe side. Close Trades flattens all positions and cancels all

  pending orders, with a two-step confirmation so a stray click cannot close your book. The one-click order buttons are

  off by default, so the tool runs as a pure calculator and news guard until you choose to enable them.

  Who it is for

  Discretionary and manual traders on any account size who want correct position sizing, protection from news, and fast,

  safe trade management in one place. It suits traders on prop-firm evaluations who must avoid trading through

  high-impact news.

  Limitations

This is a manual assistant. By default it does not open trades on its own; the order buttons must be enabled by the

user. The news list is updated manually each week, so please each Friday before you close your computer set the next week dates in the settings to have the News Updates; if it is not refreshed, the guard has nothing to count down to. It is a visual and manual tool, not a backtested automated strategy.
