It summarizes the volume while the trend remains unchanged. When the direction changes, a new wave begins and the accumulation is reset.

The intensity is calculated by levels, according to the ratio between the volume of the current wave and the largest recent accumulation. It serves as an additional filter and shows well on trending strategies.
