Prop Firm Strategy is an automated trading robot (cBot) designed for use on the cTrader platform, created with AlgoBuilderX. It operates on demo accounts to demonstrate the capabilities of AlgoBuilderX’s drag-and-drop interface for building custom trading algorithms without coding. The strategy uses the TRIX indicator to generate trade signals: it opens long positions when TRIX exceeds a configurable buy trigger and short positions when TRIX falls below a sell trigger, initiating trades at each new candle if no positions are open. Open positions are managed using a grid strategy. The cBot includes automated risk management features such as equity stop loss, equity target, and daily target levels. When any target is reached, the bot pauses trading and resumes based on a user-defined restart time. Default parameters are set for trading XAUUSD (gold). This example strategy illustrates how to implement risk controls suitable for proprietary trading firms and serves as a starting point for developing customized strategies with AlgoBuilderX.
