FAQ

Yes, Monaxa clients need a cTrader account to run these bots, because cBots execute only inside cTrader, under the cTrader ID that acquired them. The account must also permit algorithmic trading, carry the symbols each bot trades and run in the mode, hedging or netting, it was built for.
Drawdown usually tells you more, since it shows how far a strategy fell in testing, and aggressive designs can mix large gains with deep drops. Read it with trade count, test length, reviews and any live statistics, remembering that none of these numbers can predict future trading.
Both have a place: a trial, where offered, shows the product's features, and a backtest on your own symbols shows how its rules handled history. Backtest-only trials need the desktop app, and a demo account, if one exists for that broker, then adds current prices before real money is at stake.
High-frequency scalping, trading around news, very short holding times and any approach that exploits price delays are styles that brokers commonly address in their terms. Read Monaxa's current terms and ask support about your bot's exact pattern, since only the broker can confirm what it permits.
A grid expects a separate position at every level, but netting keeps one position per symbol, so new levels just reshape a single averaged trade. Exits coded per level then stop working as designed, and aggressive grids can pile up exposure anyway, so use the hedging type the bot expects and size it with care.
