Description:
Mean reversion cBot for XAUUSD M15 using RSI and Bollinger extremes.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: This is a new mean-reversion system for XAUUSD M15, distinct from our existing live listing paid product CMA-based SAL-02-Max-CMA-Gold-250-Optimized series.

Key features include:
----------------------
This is a mean reversion trading algorithm optimized exclusively for XAUUSD on the M15 timeframe. It identifies high-probability reversal zones when price deviates significantly from fair value, using a confluence of RSI oversold/overbought thresholds (30 / 70) and Bollinger Band extremes (±2.0 standard deviations). Trades are managed with fixed take-profit (60 pips) and equity-based drawdown protection (max 15% DD).

Important Performance Note:
This cBot’s default parameters are optimized for live ranging markets in XAUUSD. If backtests underperform, verify:

You’re using XAUUSD on M15 (not H1/M30)
The test period was ranging/corrective (not trending)
Your broker’s spread and data quality match real conditions
For reliable validation, run a live demo for 3–5 days during active Gold hours (London/NY overlap).
The bot is designed for traders seeking consistent returns during Gold’s ranging or corrective phases — not trending markets. It avoids overtrading by requiring strict alignment between volatility, momentum, and price structure.

Strategy type: Mean reversion
Target symbols & periods: XAUUSD | M15
Suggested leverage: 1:500
Suggested account size: $1,000+
Risk control: Adjustable volume (0.01–0.10 lots) + automatic emergency stop at 7% drawdown
Default settings: Fully optimized for live market conditions
Backtesting: Verified results from January 2024 – December 2025

Real-Market Responsiveness:
-----------------------------
The system has demonstrated strong performance in live XAUUSD M15 conditions during corrective/ranging phases, with consistent profit generation and controlled drawdown relative to lot size. Smaller lot sizes (e.g., 0.02) showed lower drawdown while still capturing meaningful returns, confirming the strategy’s scalability across risk profiles.

Note: Results vary by market regime. Best performance occurs when gold exhibits clear mean-reversion behavior.

 FAQ
Q: Does this bot work on other symbols?
A: No. Hardcoded for XAUUSD only. Gold’s volatility profile is unique.

Q: Can I adjust lot size or risk?
A: Yes — Pro version allows 0.01–0.10 lots (via Risk % input). Trial uses fixed 0.02 lots.

Q: Is a VPS required?
A: Recommended for 24/5 reliability, but not mandatory.

Disclaimer
