You have seen gold move $40 in an hour while you were at work. DoIt Gold Guardian is built to be inside those moves, and to be out with a stop when it is wrong.
It trades XAUUSD long only, one breakout per day at most, and lets a trailing stop decide when to leave. No take profit that cuts the big days short. No short side to survive.

This cBot is a line-by-line port of that strategy, with an independent test suite behind it: its decision engine was replayed against the original on 2.7 years of gold data and matched every entry, every position size and every exit.
WHAT IT DOES
- Measures the gold range of the early New York session, 04:00 to 09:00 New York time, every trading day
- Goes long once when price breaks above that range. One entry per day at most, no entries on Fridays
- Places a wide initial stop loss based on the last 10 daily candles, then trails it with ATR once the trade moves in your favour
- Splits each entry into up to 6 sub-positions so exits can be managed in pieces
- Includes a curated calendar of high-impact dates where the breakout level is raised to avoid known traps
- Optional account protections: daily loss limit (fixed USD or % of balance) and a prop firm profit target that closes everything and stops trading when reached
HOW IT MANAGES RISK (READ THIS)
- Position size is a percentage of your balance (default 5%), measured against the distance to the initial stop
- If trades from previous days are still open when a new breakout triggers, the new entry is sized up: x4 with one open group, x7 with two or more. This is a recovery mechanism with a hard cap, not an unlimited martingale. It also raises your exposure during losing streaks, so size your account for it
- When enough profit has accumulated, older losing positions are closed against it
- There is no take profit. The trailing stop is the exit
HOW TO USE IT
1. Attach it to an XAUUSD chart on a hedging account in USD. Any chart timeframe works; the logic reads its own M1 data.
2. Set Account Balance Percentage to your risk. Start on demo.
3. Leave it running (a VPS helps). It waits for the New York range, trades the breakout if it comes, and manages open positions around the clock.
4. Watch the panel. PAUSE blocks new entries while it keeps managing open trades. CLOSE ALL asks for a second click within 3 seconds before closing everything.
THE PANEL
A native panel on your chart: status (LIVE, WAIT, PAUSE, OFF), equity and floating P/L, wins, losses and win rate, today and since-deploy P/L, the last 30 closed trades as a bar chart, and account details. Four sizes for any screen.
SAFETY CHECKS AT START
Before the first trade the cBot checks your symbol and account: 2-decimal XAUUSD, 100-ounce contract, 0.01 lot steps, hedging account, USD balance and enough price history. If anything does not match, it tells you in the log exactly what failed and stops instead of trading on the wrong assumptions.
WHO IT IS FOR, AND WHO IT IS NOT FOR
For you if you understand that drawdown is the price of gold's returns, you have margin beyond the minimum, and you can leave a system alone during a red month.
Not for you if you need this month's profits to pay bills, a 20% drawdown would make you close it at the bottom, or you are looking for a "safe" gold robot. There is no such thing.

- Minimum deposit $200 technically. Realistically: money whose temporary [DD]% dip will not change a decision in your life
- Low spreads matter on gold. A raw spread account is recommended
- Backtests on cTrader use your broker's bar data and costs. Results differ between brokers and from the live account; judge the live track first
