History comes first: Wantage forex robots and algos are cTrader Store cBots that can be backtested on past data in cTrader's desktop app for Windows or Mac. A demo run follows if Wantage offers demo accounts, and some sellers add trials, though no test predicts how live trading will go.
Wantage's account terms set any such limits, not cTrader Store, and they may cover automated or high-frequency activity. Read them and ask the broker how they apply to the order frequency of a particular bot before you start it.
In hedging mode a grid bot keeps separate long and short positions on one symbol, while netting mode collapses every order into one net position. Running a grid on the wrong mode distorts its exits, and grids can rack up large losses during persistent trends.
Usually not first, because Wantage handles the account while the bot's code belongs to its seller. Read the instance log and compare your parameters with the description, then message the seller from the product page, involving the broker only for account matters such as margin or funding.
Usually, since a cloud instance continues around the clock on cTrader's side and does not need your device switched on. Products that call web services, read external files or show pop-ups are exceptions and must run locally in the Windows or Mac app instead, so read the description.
