QX Candle Academy was born from a simple idea: learn while the market is live. Many traders want a way to study, practice, and build confidence without separating “trading time” from “learning time”. This indicator is designed to help you operate, learn, and improve in the same session—seeing patterns appear in real time, understanding why they qualify, and then reinforcing recognition through structured training.
What it does
- Detects 19 core candlestick shapes (pure form) using clear OHLC proportions (body/range/wicks).
- Adds 2 optional context names (Hanging Man, Shooting Star) as suggestions only—the base shape is never changed.
- Shows every detection with a score (0–100) and a numeric checklist so there is no ambiguity.
Modes:
Learn
Browse each shape with simplified visuals, rules, and examples. Optionally filter chart markers to focus on the selected pattern.
Live
Displays the latest detected pattern with score and a concise “why” explanation. Includes a small log of recent detections.
Training (Quiz)
Interactive training mode that pauses on qualifying historical patterns and asks: “Which pattern is this?”
- 4 choices (1 correct + 3 look-alike distractors)
- Immediate feedback (correct/incorrect) + numeric explanation
- Stats: attempts, accuracy %, streak
- Manual Next by default; optional Auto-Next with delay
Optional context layer (non-blocking)
When enabled, the indicator adds a context note and optional score bias using:
- EMA trend (slope + optional close vs EMA confirmation)
- ATR for volatility awareness
Context never removes a pattern; it only adds a note like Favorable/Neutral/Against.
Performance & usability
- No MTF: uses only the current chart timeframe.
- History/training scans are chunked to avoid freezing the platform.
- Chart objects are capped to keep performance stable.
