Superior Advanced Grid and Zone Recovery

Turn any trade into a managed recovery with the Superior Advanced Grid and Zone Recovery Manager — a cBot that takes over positions you already have and runs a full Grid, DCA, Martingale or Zone Recovery engine on them, automatically.

This is not a signal cBot. It does not decide when to buy or sell. It adopts whatever is already on your account — your manual trades, another cBot's trades, your signal provider's trades — and manages them from that moment on: averaging, hedging, exiting, protecting. You keep your edge; it handles the position.

Built for traders who enter well but manage badly, for anyone recovering a drawdown, and for prop-firm accounts that cannot afford one bad basket. Behind a one-minute setup sits a powerful set of 179 settings across 18 groups, giving you complete control over every recovery scenario.

Note: Complete setup guide in the discussion tab.

Features

THE FOUR RECOVERY ENGINES

Manage Only Mode: Adds nothing at all. It simply groups your positions into baskets and runs basket-level targets, stops, trailing and protection over them — the safest way to start.

Grid Engine: Adds a fixed-size rung every X pips against you, averaging your entry down. Choose a fixed pip step or an ATR-based step that widens automatically when the market gets volatile and tightens when it calms.

Grid Lot Modes: Four ways to size each rung — Same As First, a Fixed lot, Multiply the previous rung, or Add a fixed increment to it.

Grid Range Boundary: A grid only pays inside a range; outside one it is just a position that keeps getting bigger. Bound the ladder to two prices you type, or to the high/low of the last N bars so the box tracks the market instead of a number typed last week. Outside the box the ladder stops — or escalates, your choice.

Grid Trend Filter: Averaging down into a trend is the one thing that kills grids. This blocks adds when the moving average itself is travelling against you by more than a slope threshold — not merely when price is on the wrong side of it, which for a basket in drawdown is true by definition.

Pre-Placed Grid Rungs: A market-on-touch add misses its price in a fast move; a limit order already sitting at the level does not. Park up to 20 rungs ahead of price, with optional expiry, and let them fill at the exact level.

DCA Engine: 3Commas-style safety orders. Set the first deviation in pips or percent, a step scale that widens every gap, and a volume scale that grows every order.

DCA Deviation Basis: Measure each gap from the last order (compounding) or from the base order (absolute levels off your first entry). The same numbers give two completely different ladders, and both are in use in the wild, so both ship.

DCA Budget Cap: A hard total-lot ceiling per basket. This is what makes the worst case knowable before the first safety order fires — without it, DCA is just martingale with nicer words.

DCA Cooldown: Without it, one spike candle can eat your entire safety ladder in seconds — which is exactly the move you least want to be fully loaded into.

DCA RSI Confirmation: Deviation decides where a safety order may go; RSI decides whether the market has actually finished going there. Adds only fire on genuine exhaustion.

Martingale Engine: Recovers by size instead of by distance, triggered either by price distance or by a closed loss (the classic "lose, re-enter bigger" cycle).

Four Martingale Sequences: Geometric (the textbook x2, x2), Fibonacci (1,1,2,3,5 — reaches step 8 for what geometric spends by step 5, so it survives far more steps on the same equity), D'Alembert (adds a flat increment per loss instead of multiplying — slow, but it cannot blow the account), and Custom Ladder (the exact lots you type, step by step).

Martingale Lot Decay: Bleeds the multiplier off deep in the ladder — full multiplier for steps 1–2, 75% at step 3, flat from step 4 — so the tail stops compounding where it actually hurts.

Martingale Distance Scaling: A flat distance stacks the whole ladder into one impulse leg; scaling spreads the later, larger steps out.

Anti-Martingale (Pyramiding): Reverses the whole engine — scale into winners instead of losers, stepping off the best entry in the basket, and let the basket target take the pyramid off.

Zone Recovery Engine: The genuinely different one. It draws a box around your position and flips direction at each edge with a larger size, so that whichever side price finally escapes from, the whole basket closes in profit.

Zone Calculated Target Sizing: Most zone recovery EAs just do lots x 2 and hope. This one solves algebraically for the exact volume that nets your chosen profit at the exit band, given every position currently in the basket. It reproduces the classic 0.100.300.601.20 ladder — but derived rather than assumed, so it stays exactly correct after partial closes, external adds, uneven fills and slippage.

Zone Flip Confirmation: Flip on tick, or wait for a bar close beyond the edge. Wicks are what turn a two-flip recovery into a six-flip one.

Zone Edge Buffer & Widen-Per-Flip: Require price to travel past the edge before flipping, and grow the box a little each time so the next flip needs a bigger move than the one that just happened.

Zone Trail-Out: Past the exit band the basket is one-sided and in profit — the only part of a zone recovery that can be allowed to run. Book it there, or walk the winner out behind a trailing stop.

Zone Exhausted Action: When the last flip is spent, freeze, close everything, or wait for breakeven — the realistic ambition for a hedged basket that only has to drift back to flat once.

Ladder Escalation: When any averaging ladder runs out of levels, choose what happens: stop adding, close the basket, flat-hedge it (freeze the floating loss instantly), or escalate into Zone Recovery to break out of it in either direction.

POSITION ADOPTION

Adopts Anything: Manual clicks, another cBot's fills, copied signals — if it appears on the account, it can be managed.

Source Filtering: Take over everything, manual trades only, or a whitelist / blacklist of specific bot labels.

Adopt Delay & Minimum Lots: Wait N seconds before taking over, and ignore anything below a lot threshold.

Existing SL/TP Handling: Four modes — convert to basket-level exits (inheriting the widest stop as a fallback so protection is never silently lost), leave untouched, strip both, or Keep Both, which never touches your own exits and never places its own.

Basket Grouping: Every position on a symbol in the same direction becomes one basket with one average, one ladder and one exit.

BASKET EXITS & TRAILING

Basket Target & Stop: Quoted in pips from the basket average, in account currency, or as a percentage of balance.

Basket Trailing: Arms at a profit level then gives back a fixed step — in pips or money.

Partial De-Grid: Retires the worst loser against the best winner whenever the pair nets positive, shrinking a bloated basket without booking a loss.

Time Stop: Closes any basket that has been open too long, however it is doing.

RISK-BASED POSITION SIZING

Ladder-Priced Risk Budget: The feature nothing else does properly. Set 1% of balance, of equity, or a fixed dollar figure — and the engine prices the whole remaining ladder, not just the next rung. Sizing one order at a time is exactly how a "1% risk" grid ends up 15% down by level six, because every rung passed its own check.

Fit-To-Budget Or Refuse: A rung that would breach the budget is either shrunk to exactly the size that fits, or refused outright — your choice.

Risk Horizon: Measure the worst case at the moment the last planned rung fills, or at your basket stop, priced off the average the basket would have by then rather than the one it has now.

Per-Currency Exposure Cap: Stops EURUSD, EURGBP and EURJPY baskets each clearing the account lot cap on their own and leaving you long three lots of one currency.

Max Baskets Per Symbol: A hard cap on diversification into a single instrument.

HEDGING & NETTING

Hedge Lock: Freezes a losing basket by opening an opposite leg at a drawdown you choose, in pips or in money. The bleed stops instantly and no loss is booked.

Partial Lock Ratio: Lock 10% to 100% of your net exposure — a 50% lock halves the bleed while leaving half the recovery upside intact, which is what most desks actually want from a lock.

Automatic Unlock: Release the lock when price travels back toward you by X pips, when the basket floats above a money figure, or by hand from the panel only.

Lock Limits: Max locks per basket and a re-lock cooldown, so a basket sitting exactly on the trigger cannot lock and unlock on alternate ticks paying the spread every time.

Cross-Basket Netting: Two baskets facing opposite ways are, between them, a smaller position than either alone. Once the pair is net green, the losing side is retired for free — on the same symbol, or across correlated ones.

Straddle Seeding: Optionally mirror every new basket with an opposite-direction leg, so whichever way the market breaks, one side is already aboard.

PROFIT PROTECTION

Account-Wide TP/SL: Sees every basket at once — the number a per-basket target can never protect. Five baskets each $20 short of their target are a $100 drawdown nothing in the per-basket block will act on.

Daily Equity Trail: Arms once the day is up by X%, then closes everything if you give back more than Y% of the peak gain. Turns a good day into a booked one instead of a story about a good day.

Partial Scale-Out: Bank a set percentage of a winning basket at a trigger and let the remainder run — with an option to lock the rest at breakeven immediately.

Breakeven Lock: Once a basket has been up by X, it is never allowed to become a loss again.

Loss Carry-Over Ledger: A booked loss is remembered and added to the next basket's target, so the recovery is paid for by the trades that follow it rather than quietly forgotten. Recovers any percentage of the loss, with an optional cap and a daily reset.

SAFETY GUARDS

Margin Level Floor: The guard most grid EAs are missing. Margin level, not floating loss, is what actually ends a grid account — the broker liquidates while the basket is still theoretically recoverable.

Equity Stop, Daily Drawdown & Daily Profit Target: All measured against the day's opening balance, all re-anchoring automatically at the start of each new day.

Max Account Lots: Counts open volume plus this bot's own resting orders, so five pre-placed limits cannot each pass the cap on their own and then all fill through it together.

Max Concurrent Baskets and Max Spread, with a choice of closing everything on a breach or simply stopping all adds.

CALENDAR & AUTOMATION

News Blackout Windows: Type your events — 2026.08.24 14:30 for a one-off, 14:30 for a daily window — with minutes before and after. Needs no internet access whatsoever, so the cBot keeps zero permissions.

Blackout Action: Block adds, close every basket, or flat-hedge them all through the window.

Rollover Pause: Brokers widen spreads and charge swap around the daily rollover; adding into that is paying a premium for the privilege of being bigger.

Friday Flatten & Friday Cut-Off: Be flat before the weekend gap, and stop opening anything new after a time you set.

Cycle Restart: After a basket finishes, automatically re-seed a new one — same direction, opposite, or alternating — with a delay, a winners-only option and a hard daily cap.

Session, Day & Pause Windows: Trade only the hours and days you choose, with free-form pause windows.

LIVE DASHBOARD

Four-Tab On-Chart Panel: Baskets, Risk, Stats and Setup — dark and light themes, adjustable size, opacity, font and corner, collapsible to a single title bar that still shows your net P/L.

Basket Cards: Each basket shows lots, positions, pips, age, a segmented ladder-progress bar, and a goal bar showing exactly where its P/L sits between its stop and its target.

Hold Reasons: A basket sitting still because of the trend filter no longer looks identical to one that is simply waiting — the card says which, in plain English.

Six Risk Meters: How much room is left before each guard closes everything, every meter filling toward its own limit so "nearly full and red" means the same thing whatever is being measured.

Statistics Tab: Closed baskets, win rate, realised P/L today and lifetime, best and worst, peak equity, max drawdown and any outstanding carry — all persisted across restarts.

Per-Basket Manual Controls: Close, Pause, Add Now, Hedge, Lock/Unlock, De-Grid, Arm Zone, and Release (hand the positions back unmanaged).

Global Controls: Close All (two-click armed), Close Winners, Pause All, Clear Halt, and Move Panel — with optional chart hotkeys.

Chart Levels: Average, next add, target, stop, trailing stop and the shaded zone box, all captioned, all drawn as real prices for every exit mode — and only redrawn when a price actually changes, so nothing strobes.

ENGINEERING

Full State Persistence: cTrader has no magic numbers, so basket membership is mirrored to local storage and restored on restart — without it, a restart mid-ladder orphans every open position.

Restart-Safe: Comes back knowing its baskets, its ladders, its zone boxes, its hedge locks and its ledgers, and never re-adopts its own orders as new trades.

Multi-Symbol: Manage the chart symbol only, or every symbol on the account at once.

Built-In Test Signal: A simple RSI trigger so you can trial and backtest the manager on demo without needing a second bot to generate entries. Ships disabled, and refuses to arm on a live account unless you deliberately override it — the panel shows TEST SIGNAL the entire time it is active.

Kindly Note: This is a position manager, not an entry strategy. It does not generate its own signals — it takes over trades that already exist. Grid, DCA, Martingale and Zone Recovery are recovery techniques that increase exposure to recover drawdown; used without the risk budget and guards in this cBot, they are dangerous. Every recovery engine and every automation feature ships switched off by default.
