AutoBuyLimitOrderSubmitter will automatically trade on the chosen symbol when the price drops by a specified amount. The submitted order will have a take profit and stop loss set both specified by parameters. This cbot has made a 19.5% growth in my account over the previous 6 months. The cbot will look at the range of prices over a number of days (specified in a parameter) and will submit an order when the current price hits a low point (determined by a high/low buy factor parameter).
Parameters will need to be adjusted if market conditions change (for example the symbol become much more volatile) and the seller accepts no responsibility for any losses.
Parameters:
- Volume - the volume used for orders submitted. For example a value of 0.1 would mean all orders for the selected symbol would have a volume of 0.1
- Take Profit - the relative take profit value used for orders. For example for the US30 index a value of 100 may be entered for this parameter and the take profit would be set at 100 points above the order entry price.
- High Low Period in days - the number of days to look over to determine the range of prices used to trigger an order (if the price drops in that range by a specified amount - see the next parameter). For example a value of 4 would mean the cbot calculates it's range of prices by looking over the last 4 days.
- High Low Buy Factor - the point at which an buy limit order is triggered if the price drops by this factor in the range of prices set by the above parameter. For example if the high low buy factor is 0.5, an order will be triggered when the price reaches half (50%) of the range.
- Min High Distance - The minimum distance from the high point of the range at which point orders will be triggered. This is to prevent buy limit orders being triggered too near the high point of the range if the market hasn't moved significantly in the days used for the range (High Low Period in days). For example if this cbot is running on the US30 index, this Min High Distance parameter may be set to 600. This would prevent buy limit orders being triggered when the price is within 600 points of the high point of the range.
- Stop Loss Factor. This is a multiple of the Min High Distance value used to set the stop loss on orders. For example if the Min High Distance is 600 and the Stop Loss Factor is 1.5, the stop loss on all buy limit orders would be set at 900 points below the entry price.
- Order Expiry Minutes - the number of minutes used on the expiry time for orders. For example a value of 4 would mean any orders not executed (because the price hasn't reached the specified value) would expire 4 minutes after creation. This allows the range to be reassessed for the next order that will be submitted.
- Position Gap - the minimum gap between multiple orders for the symbol. I suggest setting this to a high value (e.g. 5000) initially to prevent more than one order at a time for safety.
- Order Placed. A yes/no value to tell the cbot if there is an existing order when the cbot is started.
