Free Risk and Lot Size Calculators for cTrader

Free risk calculators turn a stop loss distance and the amount you are willing to lose into a position volume before you enter. Some also total exposure across open positions, and cBot versions may send the sized order when you confirm it.

The built-in risk-reward tool on the chart already calculates trade volume from the amount at risk or the profit target. Store calculators add things it lacks, such as risk as a share of equity, exposure across positions or presets per symbol, depending on the product.

Pip value is set in the pair's quote currency, so a calculator has to convert it into your deposit currency at the current rate. One that skips this misstates risk on crosses and metals, so check it against a demo order; a mis-sized live order remains your responsibility.

Look for balance or equity as the base, risk as an amount or share, stop distance in pips or price, and the account currency. Tools that read these straight from your account and symbol settings avoid typing errors, while fully manual ones depend on what you enter.
