How It Works: The 2-Mode Philosophy

The bot is split into two powerful modes. You use Mode 1 to find the edge, and Mode 2 to exploit it.

🔬 Part 1: Analysis Mode (The "Quant Lab")

This is your research department. In this mode, the bot places zero trades. It runs a deep historical analysis to build a "Statistical Matrix" of your market. It answers the questions that determine profitability:

1. Stat 1 (H1 vs. Session): What is the core win rate? (e.g., Final Correlation: 86.26%)
2. Stat 2 (H1 vs. Prev. Day): Does the edge work better with the trend (Concord) or against it (Discord)? (e.g., Discord Success Rate: 81.57%)
3. Stat 3 (Volatility Regime): Does the edge work in high-volatility (trending) or low-volatility (ranging) markets?
4. Stat 4 (Signal Strength): Does the edge improve if we filter out weak "noise" candles and only trade strong signals?
5. Stat 5 (Day of Week): Is the edge stable, or does it fail on certain days (e.g., Fridays)?

⚙️ Part 2: Trading Mode (The "Execution Engine")

This is your execution weapon. You take the data from your analysis and build a precise, filtered strategy.

• Core Logic: You input your Historical Correlation (e.g., 86.26% or 18.18%). The bot automatically knows whether to trade Long (with the signal) or Reverse (against it) and automatically avoids the 40%-60% "Dead Zone" where no edge exists.
• Context Filtering: You can then add layers of confirmation, telling the bot to only trade if the setup is perfect:

  • Volatility Regime Filter: Trade only in Low Volatility.
  • Enable Day Of Week Filter: Disable trading on Friday (if it's weak).
  • Enable Signal Strength Filter: Ignore weak H1 signals that are just noise.
• Precision Exits (The Scalper's Toolkit): You have total control over the exit.

  • • TimeOnly: Tests the "pure" statistical edge. Ignores all pips and exits only on time.
    • PipsAndManagement: The scalper's choice. Ignores all time and exits only on SL, TP, Break Even, or Trailing Stop.
    • TimeOrPips: Hybrid mode. "Try to hit my 20-pip TP, but if it doesn't happen in 15 minutes, close the trade."
  • Hold Time (Minutes): Your scalping timer. Set it to 5, 10, or 60 minutes for rapid in-and-out trades.

🛠️ Parameter Deep Dive (v14 English)

General

• Mode: Switches between Analysis (finds the edge) and Trading (executes the edge).

Session

• Opening Candle Hour (Broker): The H1 candle hour (0-23) that acts as your signal.
• • Example: For the 9:30 AM NY (RTH) open on XTIUSD, we found the correct broker hour was 16:00. Using the wrong hour (like 15:00) gave invalid data.
• Closing Candle Hour (Broker): The H1 candle hour that defines the end of the session for analysis and (if Hold Time = 0) the forced exit time for trades.
• Analyze Previous Day Bias (D-1): If True, the Analysis mode will calculate the advanced "Concord/Discord" statistics.

Trading

• Volume (Lots): The fixed lot size for each trade.
• Trade Label: The unique magic number for the bot's positions.
• Max BUY / SELL Positions: Max concurrent positions. For this strategy, 1 is recommended.
• Max Trades per Day (0 = Unlimited): A safety brake. If set to 1, the bot will only take the first valid signal of the day.
• Hold Time (Minutes) [0 = Use Closing Hour]:
• • 0: The bot uses Intraday Mode. It will force-close the trade at the Closing Candle Hour.
  • > 0 (e.g., 15): The bot uses Scalping/Swing Mode. It IGNORES Closing Candle Hour and will close the trade after 15 minutes (or on SL/TP).
• Exit Strategy: The most important trading parameter.
• • TimeOnly: Ignores ALL SL/TP/BE/TS. The only exit is via time (Hold Time or Closing Hour). Use this to test your "pure" statistical edge.
  • PipsAndManagement: Ignores ALL time exits. The only exit is via SL/TP/BE/TS.
  • TimeOrPips: (Hybrid). The bot uses both. Whichever is hit first (time or pips) will close the trade.

Trading Filters

• Enable Correlation Filter: If True, the bot uses the filters below. If False, it trades "blind" (always Long).
• Historical Correlation (from Analysis %): This is where you input your analysis result.
• • Example 1: You found an 86.26% win rate. You set this to 86.26.
  • Example 2: You found an 18.18% win rate. You set this to 18.18.
• Min Threshold for Trade (Long %) (e.g., 60): If Historical Correlation is above this, the bot trades Long (with the H1 candle).
• • Example: 86.26 >= 60 is True. Bot trades LONG.
• Max Threshold for Trade (Reverse %) (e.g., 40): If Historical Correlation is below this, the bot trades Reverse (against the H1 candle).
• • Example: 18.18 <= 40 is True. Bot trades REVERSE.
  • (Note: A value between 40-60 is the "Dead Zone" and no trades will be placed).

Conditional D-1 Filters

• Enable D-1 Filter: If True, enables the filters below.
• Trade on Concord Only (H1 = D-1): If True, the bot will only trade on days when the H1 signal matches the D-1 trend.
• Trade on Discord Only (H1 != D-1): If True, the bot will only trade on days when the H1 signal is opposite to the D-1 trend.
• • Example: Our XTIUSD analysis showed an 81.57% win rate only in Discord. You would set Enable D-1 Filter = True and Trade on Discord Only = True to trade this specific, high-probability edge.

Advanced Filters

• Volatility Regime Filter (Trade): Allows you to trade Only High Volatility or Only Low Volatility days, based on the analysis.
• Enable Signal Strength Filter (Trade): If True, the bot will skip trade signals if the H1 candle is too small (based on the Min Signal Strength in the Analysis parameters).
• Enable Day Of Week Filter (Trade): If True, allows you to disable trading on specific days.
• Trade on Monday... Trade on Friday: Set to False to skip trading on weak days (e.g., if your analysis showed Friday at 60% while other days were 80%+).

SL & TP

• SL/TP Mode:
• • FixedPips: Uses the fixed pip values from the "SL & TP (Fixed)" group.
  • ATR_Multiplier: Ignores fixed pips. Calculates SL/TP based on the H1 ATR at the time of the signal (e.g., SL = 1.5 * ATR).
• SL/TP (ATR Multiplier): The multipliers to use (e.g., 1.5 for SL, 2.0 for TP).
• SL & TP (Fixed) Group: The static Stop Loss and Take Profit in pips (only used if SL/TP Mode = FixedPips).

Trade Management

• Enable Break Even / Enable Trailing Stop: Activates the BE and TS modules.
• ...Trigger (Pips): The pips in profit needed to activate the BE or TS.
• ...Lock / ...Distance (Pips): The pips to lock in (BE) or trail behind (TS).
• • Note: These are only effective if your Exit Strategy is NOT TimeOnly.

Risk (Prop Risk Guardian)

• Enable Prop Risk Management: Turns on/off the safety module.
• Max Daily Loss (%): Stops new trades for the day if the daily equity loss hits this limit.
• Max Total Loss (%): Stops the cBot permanently if the total equity loss hits this limit.
• Action on Limit Hit: Decides whether to CloseAllAndBlock or just BlockNewTrades.

Advanced Analysis

• These parameters only affect Analysis Mode. They are the settings for the advanced filters.
• ATR Daily Period / SMA Period: Settings for the Volatility Regime filter.
• ATR H1 Period / Min Signal Strength: Settings for the Signal Strength filter.
• Enable Analysis...: Allows you to turn off parts of the analysis you don't need (e.g., Day of Week) to speed up the backtest.
