Strategy Type & Trading Approach
GoldPilot Pro follows a trend-following strategy that aims to trade in the direction of the prevailing market trend.
The strategy combines:
- Three EMA trend alignment
- ADX trend strength confirmation
- Higher Timeframe Two EMA confirmation
- EMA crossover confirmation
- Engulfing candle confirmation
By requiring multiple confirmations, the strategy filters out many lower-probability trades and focuses on higher-quality setups.
Entry Logic & Execution Behavior
Trades are opened only when all selected entry conditions are satisfied.
Entry conditions include:
- Trend confirmed by a 3-EMA stack
- ADX strength above the configured threshold
- Higher Timeframe 2-EMA stack
- Price retracement toward the EMA (Different parameters from all other EMA)
- EMA crossover confirmation
- Valid engulfing candle
Additional execution controls include:
- Enable/Disable Buy trades
- Enable/Disable Sell trades
- Hourly trading schedule (individual hours can be enabled or disabled)
This allows traders to focus on specific market sessions such as London or New York.
