Sentinel SMC is a Smart Money Concepts analysis tool for cTrader. It identifies institutional setups based on market structure and visualizes them with clear entry, stop-loss, and take-profit levels.
Core Features
Structure-Based Setup Detection
The indicator detects Change of Character (CHoCH) and Break of Structure (BOS) events on a configurable signal timeframe, then locates the relevant Order Block or Breaker Block that produced the move. A higher timeframe bias filter is included to reduce setups against the dominant trend.
Confluence Scoring
Each setup receives a score based on multiple factors: liquidity sweeps, Fair Value Gaps, Inverse FVGs, equal highs/lows, displacement strength, HTF alignment, OTE (Optimal Trade Entry) zone overlap, and discount/premium positioning. A minimum score filter is configurable.
Structural Stop-Loss and Take-Profit
Stop-loss is placed beyond the relevant swing or order block, with an ATR-based buffer and a configurable maximum distance. Take-profit is anchored to the nearest valid market structure (unbroken swings, equal-high/low liquidity pools, or HTF swings) within a configurable risk-reward range.
Adaptive TP Protection (Fast-TP)
An optional secondary take-profit activates when price approaches the main target. It tracks the maximum favorable excursion and dynamically adjusts based on recent volume-weighted bar delta. Several safety gates prevent premature triggers (activation threshold, arming buffer, one-bar minimum delay).
Manual Override System
Stop-loss and take-profit levels can be adjusted directly from the chart via the dashboard. Manual values are validated, drawn distinctly, and persist across sessions.
Live Dashboard
A side panel displays:
- HTF bias, premium/discount zone, killzone tracker
- Active setup details (direction, score, RR, P&L in pips and account currency)
- Up to 4 active zones with toggle/edit/reset controls
- Win rate, profit factor, expectancy, streak, drawdown, Sharpe ratio
- Sparklines for the last 10 and last 30 closed setups
- Signal-rate visualization showing setup frequency over the past 12 hours
Honest Trade Accounting
Setups exited via a trailing stop in profit territory are correctly counted as wins in the statistics, rather than mislabeled as losses.

- Signal timeframe and HTF bias timeframe
- Minimum confluence score, minimum risk-reward, minimum displacement
- Entry mode (OB retest, midpoint, far edge, or CHoCH candle close)
- Stop-loss buffer and maximum distance (in ATR)
- Zone expiry, anti-cluster spam filter
- Conflict filter mode (off, score-based, or HTF-based)
- Fast-TP activation threshold, base/hostile buffer, arming multiplier, smoothing window
- Sound and popup alert toggles, display lot size for P&L computation
Intended Use
The indicator is designed for traders who use Smart Money Concepts methodology and want automated structure detection, clear visualization of setups, and an integrated dashboard for performance tracking. Familiarity with concepts such as Order Blocks, Fair Value Gaps, CHoCH/BOS, and OTE zones is recommended.

The indicator supports sound and popup alerts and provides honest trade accounting by correctly classifying trailing stop exits.
