Apex Market Structure is a precision, non-repainting overlay that maps the structure beneath price on any instrument and any timeframe in cTrader. It reads the market's three phases : Contraction, Expansion, and Trend, and shows them live in front of you.

WHAT IT ANALYSES

The indicator reads market structure directly from closed-bar price action: swing highs and lows (liquidity pools), breaks of structure (BOS) and changes of character (CHoCH), periods of volatility compression (contraction zones, measured by ATR), the expansion and trend phases that follow, and higher-timeframe trend bias from the Daily and 4-hour EMAs. It requires no external data, only the price on your chart.

VISUAL ELEMENTS

- Liquidity levels: swing highs (red) and lows (blue) projected forward as resting stop pools. Unswept levels keep extending; once price takes them, they freeze and turn dotted.

- BOS / CHoCH labels: a Break of Structure marks continuation; a Change of Character marks a potential reversal. Each prints only on a confirmed closed bar.

- Entry arrows: one arrow per confirmed structure break, optionally filtered to your higher-timeframe bias.

- Contraction boxes: filled zones showing accumulation/compression, often preceding expansion.

- Value line (white): a reference level drawn from each contraction.

- HTF bias: a Daily + 4H trend read shown on every chart, keeping lower-timeframe decisions aligned with the bigger picture.

- Pre-entry risk gauge: floating SL and TP segments beside current price, sized to your balance, lot size and risk, with a SAFE/WAIT verdict measured against the nearest unswept liquidity level, warning you when a stop sits in front of liquidity the market may still reach. KEY SETTINGS AND PARAMETERS

Every layer is independently toggleable. Adjustable settings include swing strength (minor and major), liquidity line count and thickness, ATR period and compression ratio, minimum contraction bars, bias EMA period, bias filter mode (D1 only / H4 only / both agree), reward-to-risk ratio, risk mode (percent or dollar), and optional VWAP, alerts (sound and pop-up), dots and a live bar-close countdown.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS AND USAGE NOTES

For best results, use Heikin Ashi candles in cTrader. This is a NON-REPAINTING indicator: every persistent object is created only from a closed bar, never the live forming candle. The chart looks identical whether built live or recalculated on reload. The trade-off is that the newest signal appears one bar after the candle that produced it closes, this is intentional. The indicator is a technical-analysis tool only; it does not place trades and is not financial advice.
