VoltyPulse is a fully C#-developed cTrader indicator that combines several technical analysis methods into one compact, high-performance signal system. It is designed for traders who prefer clear, rule-based signals rooted in sound market logic — no repainting, no lag, and reliable real-time detection triggered on bar close.

What VoltyPulse Does

The indicator continuously analyses market conditions in the background and marks potential buy and sell signals directly on the main chart as arrows. At the same time, a multi-layered line structure is displayed in a separate indicator window, visually reflecting the current market state.

Signals are evaluated exclusively on fully closed bars — a technically clean approach that eliminates false signals caused by incomplete, still-forming candles.

Three Signal Modes

VoltyPulse offers three selectable modes that can be switched with a single click directly on the chart, with an instant full redraw — no restart required:

Mode 1 – All Displays all detected signals as soon as the underlying volatility and RSI-based conditions are met. No additional confirmation is required, making this the most responsive mode and ideal for traders who want maximum signal coverage and early entries.

Mode 2 – Crossover Adds a second layer of confirmation: a signal is only shown when the internal momentum lines are in a crossover situation — either approaching, completing, or having recently completed a directional cross. This significantly reduces signal noise and focuses on moments where short-term momentum is actively shifting in the signal direction.

Mode 3 – Pending The most selective mode. When the primary signal condition is triggered but no crossover has occurred yet, the indicator places the setup in a waiting state. The signal is only emitted once the momentum lines subsequently cross in the expected direction — confirming that the market has actually followed through. If no crossover occurs within the configured maximum bar window, the pending setup is discarded. This mode is designed for traders who prioritise quality over quantity and want confirmation before committing to a trade.

Three Independent Filter Layers

Three individually toggleable filters further refine signal quality:

• Filter A – A position-based filter that checks whether the internal signal line has previously reached a defined extreme zone, ensuring signals occur in meaningful market conditions.
• Volume Filter – Only allows signals when current volume exceeds a configurable threshold relative to the average, focusing attention on high-activity market moments.
• MTF Filter – A multi-timeframe filter that analyses a higher timeframe (e.g. H4) and restricts signals to those aligned with the broader trend direction.

All filters are toggled directly on the chart via dedicated buttons — no parameter panel required, no indicator restart.

Filtered Signal Visibility

Signals that are detected but blocked by active filters can optionally be shown as separate "filtered" markers on the chart. This gives traders full visibility at all times — including near-miss setups that came close to passing the active filters.

Full Alert System

VoltyPulse includes a comprehensive, ready-to-use alert system that fires once per bar close — never on intermediate ticks:

• Popup notification displayed directly in the cTrader interface
• Sound alert with support for custom WAV files and full Windows Volume Mixer integration
• Push notification to connected mobile devices
• Email alert to a configurable address
• Journal log entry always written to the cTrader log for a clean signal history

All alerts include the signal direction, symbol name, and timeframe for instant context.

On-Chart Control Panel

A compact button panel sits directly on the chart and gives instant access to all modes and filters:

• Three mode buttons (Mode 1 / Mode 2 / Mode 3) with colour-coded active states
• Three filter toggle buttons (Filter A / Volume / MTF)
• Every button click triggers an immediate full redraw across all visible bars
