Description
Dynamic RR Risk Manager (cAlgo / cTrader Automate)
Important: This cBot is a trade management tool only. It does not open trades or generate signals. It manages positions that are already opened on your cTrader account. You can use this in Cloud running 24/7 for continuous protection.
What it does
- Partial Close at RR: Automatically closes a configurable % of the position once price reaches your chosen Risk (RR) level.
- Move SL to Breakeven: Automatically moves Stop Loss to entry price (optionally with a small pip offset) when the configured RR is reached.
- Manual-friendly: If you manually move SL to breakeven or better, the cBot stops modifying SL (it won’t fight your manual changes).
Daily Execution Limit (Please read)
This cBot can limit how many new positions are allowed per server day (UTC).
Daily Execution Limit (Default ON / Max = 2):
When enabled, the cBot allows only the first X new position executions per server day (UTC). Any additional positions opened after the limit is reached will be automatically closed immediately.
This limit is account-wide (all symbols on the trading account)
Costs / Possible losses on auto-closed trades
If a new trade is opened after the daily limit is reached and the cBot auto-closes it, you may still incur trading costs such as:
- Spread cost (most common)
- Commission (if your broker charges it, you may pay open + close)
- Slippage (during fast markets, the close may fill worse)
In simple terms: repeated extra trade signals after the daily limit can cause repeated small losses from spread/commission, even if the trade closes immediately.
Main Settings
- PartialRR – RR level to trigger partial close
- Partial Close % – percent of volume to close
- BreakevenRR – RR level to move SL to breakeven
- Breakeven Offset (pips) – offset past entry (optional)
- Use Daily Execution Limit – enable/disable daily cap
- Max Executions Per Day – number of new positions allowed per UTC day
Notes
- Positions must have a Stop Loss for management logic to apply (it registers once SL exists).
- Partial closes respect broker volume rules (min volume / step size).
Summary
Key features include:
- Partial Close at Risk-Reward (RR) level: automatically closes a configurable percentage of a position when a specified RR target is reached.
- Move Stop Loss (SL) to Breakeven: automatically adjusts the SL to the entry price (with optional pip offset) once a configured RR level is met.
- Manual SL adjustments: if the user manually moves the SL to breakeven or better, the cBot ceases further SL modifications.
- Daily Execution Limit: restricts the number of new positions allowed per server day (UTC). Additional positions beyond this limit are automatically closed immediately, with potential trading costs such as spread, commission, and slippage.
Management logic requires positions to have an existing SL. Partial closes comply with broker volume rules including minimum volume and step size. The cBot supports account-wide daily limits across all symbols.
Settings configurable by the user include partial close RR level and percentage, breakeven RR level and offset, daily execution limit toggle, and maximum executions per day.
