Descripción
AuricFlow trades gold with a prop-firm guard built in. Choose your firm's programme, the phase and the account size: the guard loads that programme's limits, the strategy sizes every trade from them, and the robot stops before any limit is reached.
HOW IT TRADES
One position at a time on XAUUSD. The default strategy is a breakout: when a finished five-minute candle closes above the highest high of the last 24 hourly candles, and the last daily close is above its 20-day exponential average, it buys; the mirror image sells. The stop loss is 1.5 times the hourly average range (ATR) and sits with the broker from the first second. There is no fixed target: a trailing stop stays five entry ATRs away from the price's peak, so a trend is held for as long as it runs, and every position is closed on Friday evening before the weekend. It trades about twice a week.
RISK SET FROM YOUR FIRM'S RULES
With Strategy preset = Auto, the risk per trade comes from the room your programme leaves: the maximum loss (less when it trails your equity, and never more than a daily limit counted from the starting balance), divided by twelve and rounded down to 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 or 1 %; a funded account trades 0.5 % at most. Auto refuses to trade, and says why on the chart, on the programmes where the strategy lost accounts in our 2026 simulation or where the limits leave less than 3 % of room.
THE GUARD
On every price change, before anything else, the guard checks:
• Daily loss: measured the way the firm measures it (from the day's starting equity, starting balance or the higher of the two; as a share of the account size or of the day's start) and reset on the firm's own clock (UTC, Prague, New York, Athens or Tokyo, with daylight saving).
• Maximum loss: static or trailing (end-of-day balance, equity high or closed balance), including floors that stop trailing at the account size.
• The profit target with the minimum trading days, counted only when it still holds after the exit costs.
• Consistency rules, daily profit caps, open-loss caps, news pauses and weekend rules where the firm has them.
It stops before each limit by a buffer, closes the open trade when a limit comes near, refuses an entry whose full stop would no longer fit inside the room that is left, and says why on the chart panel and in the log.
FIRM PROFILES, CUSTOM RULES
The Rules list holds 43 programme profiles of the firms whose published rules allow a purchased robot on cTrader, phase by phase, read on the firms' own rules pages. Any other firm, or a programme that changed, is set up in the Custom rules group: every limit the profiles use can be entered by hand. Some firms add conditions for robots (approval, similar-trade checks, payout rules for single-symbol profits); read your firm's rules before you buy a challenge.
MORE STRATEGIES INSIDE
Sprint14 is a faster engine for challenges with a deadline: it buys pullbacks in the hourly trend on the one-minute RSI and raises or lowers the risk (0.5 to 1.5 %) from the profit still missing and the days left. 65 more presets carry the first RSI engine, each named by the rules it was tuned under. Custom engine opens every setting of both engines.
RESTARTS
The guard's progress (the day's start, the trading days, a halt, a reached target) is kept when cTrader restarts. On another computer or in the cloud it is rebuilt from the account's own trade history.
BACKTEST
cTrader's own backtester, IC Markets tick data from the server, from 1 January 2026 to 25 September 2026, 100,000 USD starting balance, commission 27.5 USD per million, the default settings: a one-step programme's funded phase (3 % daily loss, 10 % maximum loss trailing the end-of-day balance), Strategy preset Auto (the breakout at 0.50 % per trade). Net profit +27,769.24 USD (+27.77 %), profit factor 2.00, 79 trades (29 won), maximum balance drawdown 5.28 %, maximum equity drawdown 7.15 %. The breakout was designed on 2026 prices, so this shows how it traded the year it was built on; it is not a forecast.
WHAT IT DOES NOT PROMISE
Passing a challenge is not promised. The breakout needs trends: in quiet months it waits, and a run of losing breakouts is normal. The guard keeps the robot inside the limits; an account can still end at a loss limit rather than at the target. A price gap can fill a stop beyond its level. Firms change their rules; compare the profile with your firm's current rules.
TECHNICAL NOTES
No access rights required. Gold only (XAUUSD or your broker's spelling). One position at a time, on hedging or netting accounts. It loads about five months of hourly history at start. Runs on cTrader Desktop, Web and in the cloud; the economic calendar is read through cTrader's own networking service. Every one of the 102 parameters is documented.
