How It Works

The bot's engine combines three layers of analysis:

• News Analysis: real-time monitoring of over 10 financial and non-financial sources (Yahoo Finance, Google News, CNBC, Investing, MarketWatch, BBC and others), with automatic filtering of news relevant to the monitored symbols, and classification by importance, category and expected impact.
• Artificial Intelligence: advanced AI models analyze each relevant news item, evaluate its sentiment, estimate the expected direction (bullish/bearish) with an intensity rating from 1 to 10, and provide detailed reasoning behind every signal generated.
• Technical Analysis: over 15 indicators (RSI, EMA, SMA, MACD, ATR, ADX, Bollinger, OBV, Stochastic) across multiple timeframes (from 1 hour to 1 day) are used to confirm or reject the direction proposed by the AI, reducing false signals.

Only when news, AI sentiment, and technical indicators are aligned does the bot consider opening a position.

This is because:

• The bot's core logic relies on real-time news retrieved live from external sources (Yahoo Finance, Google News, CNBC, Investing, MarketWatch, BBC and others).
• Historical backtesting engines replay past price data only — they cannot replay the news feed, sentiment analysis, or AI reasoning that drives the bot's decisions in real time.
• Without live news data, the AI and news-analysis layers simply have nothing to process, so any backtest results would be incomplete, inaccurate, or entirely misleading.

For this reason:

• Do not use the Backtesting feature to evaluate this bot's performance.
• To properly test the bot, run it in Forward Testing (demo account) mode, where it can access real-time news and market data exactly as it would in live trading.
