Deskripsi
Blaze Synchro buys gold dips on the M5 chart and follows RSI on the forming bar on every tick; when gold falls hard enough to push RSI below its lower level, and both ATR filters agree the market is moving normally, it opens one buy. If the price keeps falling, it adds one more buy a fixed distance lower, and closes both together as soon as the basket reaches a small target above its break-even. A basket equity stop closes the side if a fall goes too far, and the side then rests for eight hours.
HOW IT TRADES
• Signal: RSI(9) on the forming M5 bar under 10 triggers the first buy; ATR filters skip a market that is too wild.
• Ladder: no more than 2 positions, 0.05 lot and then 0.06 (the multiplier 1.4, rounded down to the lot step), the second 264 points (2.64 on a two-decimal gold quote) below the first; a five-minute pause between them.
• Exit: the basket closes together at 132 points above its lot-weighted break-even.
• Protection: a basket equity stop of 8 % of equity per side, followed by an eight-hour cooldown; a maximum drawdown failsafe, a total-lots cap and a hard stop per position are available and off as shipped.
• Hours: the cBot works from 22:00 to 12:00 server time (UTC), which leaves out the London afternoon and the New York session. Outside those hours it opens nothing and does not take the basket target either; a basket still open at 12:00 waits for the evening, and only the basket equity stop acts in between.
• Direction: buys only as shipped; sells and both-sides hedging are one switch away.
BUILT-IN PRESETS
The first parameter chooses the configuration. Gold M5 Balanced is the shipped panel and the published backtest. Gold M1 Steady trades XAUUSD M1 with up to five equal positions, the Overlap exit (the newest and the oldest close together once their combined result covers a small profit) and a 60-point spread cap. Custom keeps whatever you type into the panel. Gold quotes with two or three decimals are handled automatically.
WHAT A GRID CAN DO
A grid adds to a position that is losing. The ladder here is short and the basket equity stop is on, so a deep fall ends in one closed loss instead of a growing ladder; that loss is real, and a series of falls produces a series of them. The edge of a dip-buying strategy depends on the market it meets: it was built and tested on the gold market of 2026. Size the account so that you can afford the equity drawdown shown with the backtest, and read the risk disclosure before trading.
NEWS FILTER
With the news filter on, nothing new is opened from 15 minutes before to 30 minutes after the selected events and currencies, read from a public economic calendar through cTrader's own networking service; while the calendar cannot be read, a fixed pattern of the usual release times is used. News lines and a box of upcoming events can be drawn on the chart.
DASHBOARD
A panel on the chart shows the symbol, spread and strategy, the positions and open profit per side, balance and equity, the status (running, outside trading hours, spread too high, news pause) and two switches, BUY and SELL, that turn new series on or off without stopping the cBot.
KEY SETTINGS
Strategy (grid or single entry), trade buy and trade sell, initial lot and lot multiplier, maximum positions per side, first grid distance and the dynamic distances, basket take profit and stop, basket equity stop and cooldown, RSI period and levels, ATR ranges, start and end hour with a selectable clock, spread cap, magic number. Every one of the 86 parameters is documented.
RECOMMENDED SYMBOL, TIMEFRAME, BALANCE
XAUUSD (or your broker's spelling of it), M5, a hedging account, and 10,000 USD for the shipped 0.05-lot ladder; the basket stop is a percentage of equity, so a smaller account should lower the initial lot in proportion (0.01 per 2,000 USD).
BACKTEST ASSUMPTIONS
The published figures are cTrader's own backtest of the shipped configuration on IC Markets real tick data, XAUUSD M5, 10,000 USD, leverage 1:100, commission 27.5 USD per million USD of volume, from 1 January 2026 to 23 September 2026; a backtester cannot apply the news filter. The same settings on Blueberry demo tick data over the same dates are shown in the gallery. A backtest holds only for its own period, data, balance and leverage; run your own on your broker's data before trading.
