How to Read the Information on Chart
When you attach SuperTrend cBot to a chart, it begins calculating the indicator and monitoring price action instantly.
Green SuperTrend line: Indicates an uptrend. The cBot will look for long entries only.
Red SuperTrend line: Indicates a downtrend. The cBot will only take short positions.
Trend Flip (color change): The moment the SuperTrend switches from red β green or green β red, the cBot interprets it as a new trend direction and executes an order accordingly.
Trade Management: Every order is placed with predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels based on user input (default: 50 pips SL, 100 pips TP).
All activity is logged in the cBot log and visible in the TradeWatch panel, so you can easily track entries, exits, and performance.
How It Works
Internally, SuperTrend cBot calculates two dynamic bands around the price using the ATR (Average True Range):
It retrieves recent highs, lows, and closes for the selected timeframe.
It builds upper and lower SuperTrend levels using the ATR multiplier.
If the price closes above the upper level, the cBot detects a bullish reversal and opens a long position.
If the price closes below the lower level, it detects a bearish reversal and opens a short position.
Risk and position size are controlled automatically through the lot-sizing and margin-check functions, preventing over-exposure.
