Prop firm algo bots are cBots with fixed entry, exit and risk logic, built for traders who run them on accounts supplied by a prop firm. Repeatable rules let you review behaviour in tests, but the firm's own terms decide whether automation is allowed at all.
A Store product is tied to the cTrader ID that obtained it, and with cloud synchronisation it shows up wherever that ID signs in to cTrader. Accounts under another ID would need their own copy, and each firm still decides whether its accounts may run automation.
Each instance runs independently, so two bots or two copies of one bot on the same account can both enter at once and double the exposure. Combined risk per trade and combined worst-case loss matter more than each instance's settings, so total them before starting.
Logic built on past data can meet conditions it never saw, gaps can skip stops, and a local instance stops when the desktop app closes, leaving positions unmanaged. Risk settings shrink losses but cannot remove them, and no setup can guarantee passing.
Create a demo with the same deposit, leverage and account type as the funded account, then enter the firm's current limits as the bot's risk inputs. Those limits vary between firms and change over time, so repeat the check whenever the programme updates its terms.
