Sessions PRO — Indicator Description

Sessions PRO is a professional session visualization indicator for cTrader that marks the most important trading sessions directly on your chart. It gives you full control over how each session is displayed, helping you quickly identify key price levels and market structure.

4 Fully Customizable Sessions

The indicator supports up to four independent trading sessions (A, B, C, D). Each session can be named freely (e.g. New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney) and configured with any time range in HH:MM-HH:MM format. Every session has its own color picker with full alpha channel support — you control both the color and transparency directly from the color palette.

Session Range Box

Each active session is marked with a colored rectangle that expands in real time as the session progresses, always showing the current High and Low. An optional outline and session name label can be displayed at the top of the box.

Opening Range

For each session you can enable an Opening Range box that captures the High and Low of the first X minutes of the session (configurable per session). The Opening Range box has its own separate color with alpha support. This is a popular setup used in price action and breakout trading.

Mean Line

An optional mean line shows the average closing price of all bars within the current session. It updates dynamically with each new bar and is useful for identifying whether price is trading above or below the session average. Each session has its own color for the mean line.

Previous Session High / Low

When enabled, the indicator draws two dotted horizontal lines at the High and Low of the previous occurrence of each session. These lines extend through the current session and serve as key support and resistance levels. Each session has its own color for these lines.

Timezone Control

A single UTC Offset parameter shifts all session times simultaneously, making it easy to adapt the indicator to your broker's server time without editing each session individually.
