IVT Global Scanner is a multi-symbol Institutional Volume Trend (IVT) indicator designed to identify high-confidence Breaks of Structure (BOS) in price charts by filtering moves through institutional volume data. It distinguishes "smart money" activity from retail noise by marking bullish and bearish BOS events with green and red labels, respectively, directly on the chart. Grey "×" markers indicate trend flips that do not meet volume criteria, helping to avoid low-liquidity false signals.
The scanner operates on the timeframe of the chart it is attached to and supports monitoring multiple customizable symbols, including major currency pairs, gold, cryptocurrencies, and indices. Users can specify the list of symbols via a comma-separated input in the indicator settings.
IVT Global Scanner includes an optional Telegram alert system that sends volume-filtered BOS signals to mobile devices. This feature can be enabled by providing a Telegram Bot Token and Chat ID, or the indicator can be used solely as an on-chart visual tool without external connectivity.
Upon loading, the indicator performs a historical scan of price data to plot past institutional moves, requiring 5–10 seconds for full initialization. This tool serves as a technical decision-support indicator for traders analyzing institutional volume trends and market structure changes.
