For trend filtering, the practical question is whether it reduces bad decisions. A 55 setup journal on New York open makes that clearer.

The setup fits better once the final call stays manual. A 48 setup forward sample on London open should be enough for the first opinion.

A decent setup here should survive 3 sessions without looking messy. A small demo sample says more than one good trade. A cautious first pass gives a cleaner opinion.
