Star Reversal Pro automatically detects Morning Star and Evening Star three-candle reversal patterns on any symbol and timeframe available in cTrader. A confirmed signal is plotted as a color-coded up or down arrow directly on the chart — no manual scanning required.

Pattern Detection The indicator evaluates every completed three-candle sequence using strict body-to-range ratio rules. Candle A must show a large impulse body, Candle B a small indecision body, and Candle C a strong close in the opposite direction. Only setups that meet all three conditions are signalled.

Trend Filter (optional) An optional moving average filter suppresses signals that run counter to the current trend. Period and MA type (SMA, EMA, etc.) are fully configurable.

Higher Timeframe Confirmation (optional) Before plotting an arrow, the indicator can verify that a separate higher-timeframe MA agrees with the signal direction. Any timeframe supported by cTrader can be used — default is H4 with a 20-period EMA.

Alerts Sound alerts and pop-up notifications fire on bar close or in real time, depending on your preference. Duplicate alerts for the same bar are automatically suppressed.

Customisation Arrow colors for bullish and bearish signals are set independently. The pip distance between the arrow and the candle high/low is freely adjustable.

Non-repainting Signals are evaluated on confirmed, closed bars only. Once an arrow appears on the chart, it does not move or disappear.
