NY Open Range Box automatically draws the New York opening range on your chart, a key reference for intraday traders and Opening Range Breakout (ORB) strategies.

WHAT IT DOES

• Draws a shaded box over the first 30 minutes after the New York open (09:30-10:00 NY time by default, duration fully adjustable from 1 to 240 minutes).
• Plots two horizontal lines at the high and the low of the opening range, extended until the New York session close (16:00 NY by default).
• On the current day the box grows in real time while the range is forming; the high/low lines appear as soon as the range is complete.
• Shows the last N trading days (configurable), so you can review how price reacted to the opening range historically.

• New York daylight saving time handled automatically: the box is always anchored to the real NY open, whatever your broker server time is.
• Accurate levels on any chart timeframe: the high/low are computed from 1-minute data, so the indicator also works correctly on M15, H1 and higher timeframes.
