An order block is the last opposite-colored candle before a strong move that breaks market structure, such as the final down candle before a sharp rally. Indicators draw that candle's range as a zone traders watch in case price returns.
A return to the zone, often called mitigation, is watched for a reaction such as a rejection wick or a lower-timeframe shift in direction. A close straight through the box is usually read as invalidation, and some tools then remove or recolor it.
Zones from H1, H4 or daily charts are commonly mapped first and then refined on M5 to M15 for timing, across currency pairs, gold and indices. Higher-timeframe blocks are fewer and wider, while lower-timeframe ones appear constantly and can fill a chart with overlapping boxes.
No single definition exists, so tools differ on whether the move must break structure, how strong it must be and whether the box covers wicks or only the body. Any zone can fail, and scrolling back through history shows how earlier boxes behaved.
No, it only draws zones; stop loss, trailing stop and take-profit are your own choices in cTrader's protection settings, which stay active after your session ends. On cTrader Windows or Mac the indicator is added from a chart's indicator icon like any custom tool.
