News On Chart, as the name suggests, it’s a lightweight indicator that displays upcoming and past high/medium/low impact economic calendar news of the current week directly on the chart with vertical lines and interactive panel.

The indicator automatically adapts to the timezone/timeshift selected on the cTrader platform.

Here's a short explanation of the parameters:

Show High/Medium/Low?

• Self-Explanatory

==== News Filter ====

[FX] Related Symbol?

• If True => Filter news based on the current symbol
• If False => Show the entirely calendar.

[Non-FX] Specific:

• It’s used if the current symbol isn’t a Forex currency (like Indices, metals or crypto)
• Also, a custom filtering by currencies.
• USD, GBP, EUR, AUD, CAD, JPY, CHF

Force Specific?

• If True => Overrides the “[FX] Related Symbol?” filtering
• If False => Deactivate override.
• Keep in mind => “[FX] Related Symbol?” must be activated to “Force Specific?” work properly.
