IANTIAI Season Pro – know when the market usually moves
Season Pro reads the seasonal behaviour of a symbol and turns it into one clear daily bias: LONG, SHORT or NEUTRAL. It works as a directional filter for your own entries.
WHAT THE INDICATOR ANALYSES
– Daily price history of the chart symbol (always Daily data, also on intraday charts)
– The average close-to-close change for every trading day of the year, built into a cumulative seasonal curve
– Up to three periods: Season Short, Mid and Long (for example 5 / 10 / 15 years)
– No look-ahead: every year is calculated only from the complete years before it
– The current market structure from swing highs and lows: bull (two higher lows), bear (two lower highs) or range
HOW TO READ SIGNALS AND VISUALS
– Coloured lines: Short (purple), Mid (blue), Long (orange) seasonal curve
– Background: green = season rising over the signal horizon, red = season falling
– Dashed preview: the seasonal curve projected into the coming days
– Info box header: the setup rating
LONG / SHORT A = season and market trend agree
LONG / SHORT B = season with a ranging market
with confirmation = season against the current trend, wait for confirmation
C = no seasonal edge, trade zones only
– Info box rows: season direction per period, market trend, price vs. season, whether this year follows its seasonal pattern, and the next seasonal turning point
KEY SETTINGS
– Season Short (years): main signal period, default 5
– Season Mid / Long (years, 0 = off): optional confirmation, all active periods must agree
– Signal horizon (days): how far ahead the curve is compared, default 20
– Min. strength: minimum move as a share of the yearly range, default 0.10
– Pivot length / Equal tolerance %: settings for the trend detection
– Preview bars, background colouring, colours, info box mode (Full / Compact / Off), position and font size
TYPICAL USE CASES
– Daily bias filter: only take long setups in a rising season and short setups in a falling season
– Combine with supply & demand zones, breakouts or session setups on H1 and lower timeframes
– Swing trading: hold positions in the direction of the season until the next turning point
– Market selection: check several symbols to find those with a clear seasonal edge right now
WHO IT IS FOR
– Discretionary traders from beginner to advanced who want a simple higher-timeframe bias
– Swing and intraday traders on forex, metals, indices and crypto
– Suitable for any account size, including prop firm accounts; it gives no position sizing
LIMITATIONS AND NOTES
– Seasonality shows when a market has tended to move, not how far
– It is a filter, not an entry signal; use your own entry, stop loss and risk management
– Needs enough daily history: at least as many complete years as the longest period you select
– Very short periods (1–2 years) are unreliable
– Past seasonal patterns do not guarantee future results
