TheFirstCandle is a trading indicator that automatically outlines the first candle of the real cash session on any timeframe below Daily. It supports indices such as DAX, Euro Stoxx, CAC, FTSE, Nasdaq, Dow, S&P 500, Russell, Nikkei, Hang Seng, ASX, Nifty, and others, marking each at its official open. For forex and cryptocurrency markets, it highlights the first candle of the Asia (FCA), London (FCL), and New York (FCN) sessions, with an optional 00:00 UTC crypto open. The indicator handles daylight saving time automatically according to each exchange’s time zone and detects the market from the symbol name, with options for manual and custom session settings. It features a clean outline that preserves the candle’s original color, with adjustable thickness, style, and labels. Users can display a live higher-timeframe candle (30m, 1H, 4H, or 1D) in any chart corner, showing its range in pips.
