QX SessionBox ORB is an overlay session utility for cTrader that highlights the most practical intraday structure: sessions + Opening Range (ORB).
It draws clean session boxes (Asia, London, NY), builds the Opening Range for the first X minutes of each session, and keeps the ORB High/Low levels visible as objective reference lines. A compact panel shows session status and market bias so you can read context in seconds.

How to use it (simple workflow)
Attach QX SessionBox ORB to your chart.
- Set your Session UTC Offset if your broker time differs from your intended session hours.
- Choose ORB Minutes (common choices: 15, 30, 60).
While ORB is building, the panel will show a “building” status. After that, it becomes “ready”. - Use the ORB High/Low as a clean structure:
- Price above ORB High suggests bullish pressure for that session.
- Price below ORB Low suggests bearish pressure for that session.
- Price inside the ORB zone is typically range behavior (context matters).
- (Optional) Enable Plot Signals for confirmations:
- CrossOnly (default): confirms only when a candle closes beyond the ORB boundary.
- State: confirms when price transitions into a bullish or bearish state for the session.
- (Optional) Enable ATR Filter to reduce weak breakouts. If signals feel “too rare” or “too frequent”, the ATR k value is your main sensitivity control.
